Travis Daniel Fischer, 47, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family due to Covid-19 complication.

He is survived by his parents, Tom and June (Badgley) Fischer of Port Austin and his siblings: Doreen (Kevin) Rice of Filion, Tom (Sherry) Fischer Jr. of Kinde, Don (Beth) Fischer of Kinde, Tracy Fischer of Port Austin, and David (Janelle) Fischer of Sebewaing.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Kayla (Jason) Pionk, Rhonda (Jason) Cook, Jessica (Brandon) Fanion, Kevin (Mandy) Rice, Thomas (Amanda) Fischer, lll, Abigail Fischer, Brianna Fischer, Margaret Fischer, Jack Fischer, Blake Fisher, and even more great nieces and nephews, Sam and Claire Pionk, Brady Rice, Raelynn and TJ Fanion, Bruce and Grayson Cook, Amelia and Kelsen Rice, Lana Fischer, and his Godparents, Ed Ventline and Rhonda Marciszewski.

He also leaves behind many friends who were like family to him.

Travis is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Jim and Isabelle Badgley, and Paul and Dorothy Fischer, and his sister, Donna Jean Fischer as well as many aunts and uncles.

All who knew Travis knew he was "one of a kind" with his die-hard love for the Detroit Lions and his extensive Batman collection.  He could quote any Batman Movie made, and if you needed a movie recommendation, he was your guy.

Travis dedicated many years to coaching football and baseball at North Huron, Bad Axe, and Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools.  Many of those athletes became lifelong friends - even family.

Travis will be remembered and missed by so many.

His family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the members and staff of Scheurer Hospital and McLaren Bay Region for the dedicated care and compassion they gave Travis during his stay.

Funeral Mass for Travis Fischer will be at 12:00 Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin.  Visitation will be in the church prior to the funeral. The family has requested those who come to the Mass and visitation, please wear a mask.  A private family burial has been held in the church cemetery. Arrangements were through the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde
