Tina Marie Nutt Zelkowski lost her battle with cancer Aug. 5, 2016.

Born in Bad Axe in 1962, she enjoyed a good life. Highlights are many. Friends and family were her treasures.

She is survived by her greatest gift to the world, Chance Zelkowski, 16, of Port Austin, whom she cherished as much as life itself. Her devotion to him was unparalleled. She was a great mother. Also surviving are her mother, Doris of Roscommon and her sisters, Sheril Lee, Christine, Nannett and Trisha, all of Michigan.

Her father, Dwayne, preceded her in death in 2011. Tina and her father were very close. We hope they are united and fishing out of the same boat again.

Mourn her if you must, but think of her with a smile. Remember the good times and think not of the bad. Her life's journey touched many of us even though she left us so young. You will live on in memories. Rest easy T-Bone.

There will be a memorial from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2016, at the American Legion in Port Austin.

Arrangements have been handled through the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.
