THERESA MARY BAMBACH
Theresa Mary Bambach, 90, of Port Austin passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Dimondale Nursing Care Center in Dimondale, Michigan under hospice care, with family at her side.
She was born September 27, 1924 in Grindstone the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Leavine) Filipiak

Theresa and Theodore J. Osentoski were united in marriage on June 26, 1943 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Port Austin. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1982.
On September 12, 1987 she and Frank Bambach were married at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Port Austin. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2006 at the age of 97.

Theresa was a lifelong parishioner of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Port Austin and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. She was a true homemaker, enjoying gardening, canning, baking, sewing, and making meals for family get-togethers. In her later years, she and Frank enjoyed going to Senior Citizen dinners and taking numerous bus trips. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones.

She is also survived by her children, Beatrice (Gene) Boggess of Clinton Twp., Jeanne(Brian) Craig of Potterville, Lawrence Osentoski and Margie Osentoski of Bad Axe: Two step-children, Franklin (Jane) Bambach of Scottsdale AZ., and Nick (Sandy Bambach of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Tarina Myris (the late Russ Myris), Melissa (Dan) Johnson, Stephanie (Barry) Collier, Kyle Craig and Jessica, and Andrew Craig as well as six great-grandchildren: Dillon, Emily, Olivia, Dominic, Ashlynne, and Lincoln. She is survived by four sisters, Barbara (Wally) Uller of Warren Rose Marie Aiuto of Macomb Twp., Sophie Navock of Port Austin and Gertrude Strozeski of Bad Axe, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two daughter, Virginia and Marilyn Osentoski and two sisters, Bernice Osentoski and Florence Gusa.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Port Austin with Fr. Craig G. Carolan officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Ubly.
Visitation is from 2:00 to 8:00 on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Knoblock Funeral Home of Kinde with a rosary recited by the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Michael's CHurch of the Annunciation fof the Lord Parish in Port Austin on Monday at 4:00 pm.and visitation also at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am on Tuesday..
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church in Port Austin.
