SUZANNE RUTH

Our beloved mother passed away with her daughters by her side on October 5, 2022. Just 71 years old, Suzanne (Sue) Ruth (Rice) went to join her cherished daughter (Sandi) and son (Eric) in heaven. Our hearts ache with the unexpected loss of such an amazing woman. To those close to her, she loved fiercely and had no problem sharing her sassy, independent attitude. Sue is survived by her loving children, Stacy and Roger DeJonge, Jeffery Ruth, Amanda and David Rossow, and Ashley and Tom Ruth-Bowers. Known as Grandma, Nana, and Busha, she will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Trevor, Eli, Elvie, Nate, Miah, Cole, and Eleanor. She was an incredible mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.

Sue was born on August 3, 1951, to the late Edward and Mary Rice of Kinde. Sue remained a resident of Kinde, enjoying small-town life. She loved watching her children and grandchild play sports, drinking coffee, making strawberry jam, wearing housecoats, and collecting birdhouses as well as adding to her Santa Claus collection.   Arrangements through the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.

Burial services will be private with a Celebration of Life at a later time.
