Stanley M. Kondziolka Jr., 81, died Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at his home in Port Austin Township.  Stan was born July 5, 1944 in Detroit, son of the late Stanley and Helen (Pazden) Kondziolka.  He and Genevieve Palach were married on July 16, 1977, at Ascension Catholic Church in Warren, Michigan.

Stanley and Genevieve moved to Port Austin after his retirement as a Service Director in the automotive industry in 2006.  They joined St. Michael's Catholic church, where Stan became very active and involved.  Stan was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; his son, Steven Swieczkowski; his godchild, Sara Tomasiecki; and several nieces and nephews.

Stan was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlotte Marie (Osip) Summers, Susan Dunata (Kondziolka) Wonsowicz; and Sister Mary Louise Goretti.

Funeral mass will be Saturday, January 10th at 11am at St. Michael's Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin.  There will be visitation from 10-11am at the church.  Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.  Arrangements are being handled by the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.
