Sharon Marie Wahl, 81, of Port Austin, died at her home on Monday, November 7, 2022.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 16, 1941, the daughter of Lawrence and Lillian (Stapanski) Kanarek.

Sharon moved to the Port Austin area from Warren in 1969.  She enjoyed baking, especially birthday cakes, Puzzles, reading books, taking care of, and feeding her family, she also loved to listen to all music.

Sharon is survived by her children:  Fred (Shelley) Baranski of Port Austin, Robert (Janice) Baranski of Bad Axe, Gerald Jr (Suzie) Baranski of Port Austin, and Julie (Michael) Ressler of St. Clair Shores.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: Chaning Baranski, Casey Baranski, Kayla (James) Lemanski, Adam (Megan) Baranski, Elizabeth Baranski, Ian and Lillian Ressler; and her great grandchildren:  Annie, Anthony, Sophia, Emily and Hannah.

She is also survived by her siblings:  Barbara Kanarek and Allen Kanarek.

She was Preceded in death by her husbands:  John Marchese, Gerald Baranski and Glen Wahl.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11:00 am in St. Michaels church of The Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 10 ^th from 4:00-8:00 in the Knoblock Funeral Home, Kinde, and Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the Mass at 11:00.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Funeral Services though the Knoblock Funeral Home, in Kinde.
