Robert L. Tschirhart, 100, formerly of Port Hope, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Lakeshore Woods Assistant Living in Fort Gratiot, Michigan.

He was born in Irma, Canada on October 20, 1921, the son of the late Robert S. and Mary Jane (Pechette) Tschirhart.  Robert was a WWII Navy Veteran.  He loved farming, making pies, playing cards, working on vehicles and carpentry work.

He is survived by his daughters:  Sallie (Wayne) Reither, Carol (Wayne) Stirrett, Nancy (Patrick) White, Linda Schramski, Mary (Frank) Kelly, and Pamela (Bradley) Neal.  He is also survived by his sons-in-law:  Donald Koglin and Willard Sengstock, and his siblings:  Evelyn Hansen, Donald, and James Tschirhart, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wives, Magdalen (Braun) and Ramona (Iseler).  His children:  Joyce Koglin, Joann Sengstock, Chase Kennedy (Charles), his son-in-law, Walter Schramski, his grandchildren: Chandra Koglin and Benjamin Tschirhart.  He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Brown, Alice Harmon, Josephine Tschirhart, Lawrence and Joseph Tschirhart.

Funeral Mass for Robert will be Friday, August 5, 2022, at 11:00 in St. Joseph Church in Rapson.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the Mass at 11:00.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors.
