Robert Raymond Popham age 89 of Meade Township passed away June 1, 2025 at McLaren Hospital in Bay City.  He was born March 1, 1936 in Kinde, son of the late Gordon H. and Anna Mae (Champagne) Popham.

He was a 1954 Kinde High School graduate.  Robert married Brenda Grove on April 23, 1966 at the United Methodist Church in Gladwin.  He lived all his life in Meade Township.  He farmed all his life until retiring at the age of 82 and also drove school bus and hauled milk.  Robert enjoyed visiting with family and friends and reading and gardening.

Robert is survived by his wife Brenda of Meade Township; One daughter Lisa (David) Beachy of Pigeon; three grandchildren; Leanne Willard of Bay City, Katie (Noah) Phillips of PA, Bryan (Allison) Beachy of Reese.  Great grandchildren, Bentley and Mason Willard; Finley, Hannah and Peytra Phillips; Maxwell and Lucas Beachy.  He is also survived by two sisters Marilyn Bloom of PA and Eileen Clabuesch of Grand Ledge; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two infants and a child; Ann, Robert and Linda. One brother G. James Popham, two sisters Anna Mae Grotkowski and Marie Kanaski.

Cremation has taken place.  Burial will be in Colfax Township Cemetery with a private graveside service.  Knoblock Funeral Home of Kinde is handling the funeral arrangements.
