Richard M. Hellebuyck, 55, of Port Austin passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at McLaren Bay Regional in Bay City.

Richard was born August 1, 1962, the son of Evelyn Hellebuyck and the late Richard Hellebuyck, Sr.  in Mt. Clemens, Michigan

He was a member of the Electrical Union IBEW Local 58.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and bowling and music.   He enjoyed traveling the Upper Peninsula and especially loved his time spent with family and friends.  He was also an avid Lions and Tigers fan.

Richard is survived by his life partner, Doreen Paganini, of Port Austin, his children:  Richard Hellebuyck III of Berkley, and Megan Hellebuyck of Tennessee and his mother, Evelyn Hellebuyck of Port Austin.  He is also survived by his brothers:  Brian (Linda) Hellebuyck, Farmington hills, and Bruce Hellebuyck of St. Clair Shores, and his sister, Cheryl Watkins of Texas.

Funeral Services for Richard Hellebuyck will be Saturday, at 11:00 am in the Knoblock Funeral Home, Kinde, with visitation on Friday, May 5, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 11:00.
