Mary M. Mergucz, 70, of Port Austin died June 21, 2021 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.  She was born the daughter of Garland and Verda (Tackett) Ray in Virgie, Kentucky on July 1, 1950.  She and Frank Mergucz were married April 1, 1968.  He preceded her in death on August 22,2005.

Mary enjoyed being with her family, reading, and especially enjoyed whatever her children and grandchildren did.

She is survived by her daughter Tina and her son Frank "Sue" Mergucz, her grandchildren; Nikki Mergucz, Courtney "Dennis" Mergucz, Shannon Mergucz, Landen Mergucz, John and Brad Hoody, and her great-grandchildren; Alanna Leggier and Kayden Leggier.  She is also survived by her Siblings:  Gary Ray, Glen Ray, Laura Sparkman, Hazel Konark, Ruby Daniels, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, John and her siblings; Garland Jr., Elna, Julie, Greg and Simon.

There will be a Funeral Mass 11:000 am on Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin.  Cremains will be buried with her husband in St. Michael's Cemetery in Port Austin.
