MARY JOSEPHINE CRAIG

Mary Josephine Craig, 78, of Port Austin passed away April 22, 2018 following a brief bout with cancer.

She was born May 8, 1939 in Hume Township, the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Shall) Krull.

Mary Krull and Kenneth Craig were married on August 29, 1959 at the United Protestant Church in Port Austin.  He preceded her in death on October 20, 2004.

Mary was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Kinde.  She was a longtime custodian with the Port Austin/North Huron School District.  She loved working in her yard and enjoyed spending time with her family and her cats.

She is survived by her sons, Ken (Lisa Zadrzynski) Port Austin. Twins Kim (Michelle) and Kevin (Sally), both of Kinde, five grandchildren: Kenny and Cody Craig, Adrienne (Mitch) Dhyse, Mike and Nick Craig, as well as two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Lucas Dhyse.  She is also survived by her sister, Nellie Hatch.  She was preceded in death by her siblings: Cecilia Gordon, Caroline McGuire, Dorothy Guster, Theresa Luchtman, Jack and Ed Krull.

Funeral Services for Mary Craig will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Knoblock Funeral Home, Kinde.  Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 on Tuesday, and on Wednesday from 10:00 until the time of service at 11:00 in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Port Austin Township Cemetery
