MARIE A. KOZLOWSKI

Marie A. Kozlowski, 91, of Kinde, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 12, 2026, with her loving family by her side, at McLaren Thumb Region in Bad Axe.  She was born on May 23, 1934, daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Wisneski) Koroleski.  Marie and Earl Kozlowski were married on May 3. 1952 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dwight Township.  He preceded her in death on July 12, 2019.

Marie loved her Bingo, euchre, or any other card game.  But, most of all she loved her family and her grandkids and great grandkids.

Marie is survived by her children, David Kozlowski and special friend, Gloria, Diane (Charles) Pionk, Doreen (Charles) Slack, and Doris Kozlowski and special friend, Lou; 9 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 1 step great grandchild.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Denise Kozlowski.

Marie is preceded in death by her son, Dale; her daughter-in-law, Linda; her mother-in-law, Susie Kozlowski: her father-in-law, Sam Kozlowski; her siblings, Gloria Lasceski, Connie Ornowski, Jerry Koroleski, and John Koroleski; and her in-laws, Sylvester Lasceski, Ray Andreski, Ernie Kozlowski, and Janice Kozlowski.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff who touched her heart at the Huron County Medical Care Facility for their personal attention, which included addressing her as Busha, Grandma, Motcha, and Ma.  She loved you all.  Also, a thank-you to Heartland Hospice for their care during her last hours.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements are being handled by the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.
