Julia Ann Ullrich, 69, of Port Austin, MI, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024, at My Michigan Medical Center in Midland.  She was born on July 11, 1954, in St. Clair, MI, daughter of the late Roy and Iverna (Smith) Barks.

Julia shared 38 years of love and companionship with her husband, Kevin Ullrich. Before that, she was married to Angelo Mantini, who widowed her. Together they had two beloved children, Michael Mantini (Joan Mantini) and Kari Scott (Kevin Scott). She was a cherished grandmother to Lucas (seventeen), Mia (thirteen), and Colin (twelve) Mantini.

Julia lived a life devoted to her family and community.  During her life, Julia was a compassionate and selfless nurturer who touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was known for her thoughtfulness and generosity towards others, her love for gardening, and her passion for traveling with her husband and discovering adorable local shops. Julia also enjoyed the time spent with her grandkids, cherishing every moment with them. Her unwavering and unconditional love for her family and friends will always be remembered. Julia will be dearly missed by all who know her.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11am at the United Protestant Church in Port Austin.  Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service at 11am at the church.  Arrangements are being handled by the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde
