There will be a memorial service at the United Protestant Church in Port Austin at 12:00 on April 9, 2022 for Jory Daniel Voss, 28, of Port Austin who passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep on January 11, 2022.  He was born on July 15, 1993.

Jory had previously attended Huron Learning Center.  Although Jory's accomplishments may not have seemed great, he did excel in his most important job as "Keeper of the Tree" at family Christmas gatherings.  Jory loved his tablet, watching Barney, Veggie Tales, Wiggles and Elf.  His smile, laughter and especially his hugs will be so very missed.

Jory is survived by his mother, Janet M. Voss, his brothers and sisters:  Kyle Voss, Gracie Voss, both of Port Austin, Roy Voss of Tucson, Az, and Isabelle Voss of East Lansing.   Also surviving are his grandma, Janet C. Voss, Aunts and Uncles: Frank and Lorraine Voss, Mike and Geri Voss, Mary and Dale Jaworski and Caren Voss all of Port Austin, Sandie and Doug Bain, Greenbush, MI., Nancy wheeler of Oxford, MI. and Kathy Reyce, Ft. Mitchell, KY.  His uncle and Godfather, Rich Voss of Port Hope and godmother, Rachel Voss, as well as many, many cousins and his birth family, Barb, Scott and brothers; Ryan, Rob and Justin.

Jory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Aldine Voss, his brother, Scott Voss and cousins: Jodi Voss and David Luttman.

Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements were handled by Knoblock Funeral Home, Kinde.
