John Earl Learman, 65 of Filion died Monday, February 12, 2024, at Medilodge of Cass City.

He was born on June 10, 1958, in Harbor Beach, the son of the late Earl and Judith (Howard) Learman. John married Lou Ann (Jaworski) on July 12, 2003, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe.

John enjoyed sports, the Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings.  He also enjoyed motorcycles, bowling, making people laugh, and his dog, Sparky.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann of Filion; his siblings, Heidi Roberts of Gladwin, Wendy Gourlay of Harbor Beach, Jodi (Steve) Kosal of Harbor Beach; and Holly (Willie) Hale of Harbor Beach; his Mother-in-law, Christine Jaworski of Filion; his In-laws, Terri Jaworski and her special friend, Steve Hanson of Bad Axe and Carrie Jaworski of Vassar.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

John was preceded in death by his Brothers-in-law, Steve Robart, John Gourley, and Richard Jaworski and by his Father-in-law, Edwin Jaworski.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 5pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.  Visitation will be from 2:00pm until the time of service at 5pm.  Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.
