Harry Porzondek, 75, of Summerfield, Florida, died on January 22, 2021.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 24, 1945.  He and Darlene were married in Shelby Township on August 22, 1964.

He always said:  "It doesn't take much to make me pretty."  There are not many people who can say that he wasn't kind or helpful to them in so many ways.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved his wife and children more than life itself.  He was a twin, brother, son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to all.  He worked hard for many years for Chrysler.  His humor and humbleness brought joy and happiness to so many.

Harry's humor:

"If a Chicken lays an egg and a half in a day and a half, how

many donuts are there in a doghouse?  Answer:  Ice cream melts."

He is survived by his wife, Darlene, his daughters; Carlene (Scott) Altenburg, Renee (Dean) Carrier, Candace (Jim) Smith, Bobbi (Mark) Caruso, and Marilyn (Anthony) Horky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bernice Porzondek, his siblings; Daniel (Pinky), George, Larry and Belinda, and children Harry and Daniel.

Memorial celebrating Mr. Porzondek's life will be this Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the American Legion Frank Horetski Post 499 in Port Austin from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.   Arrangements are through the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.

In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted to defer the cost of the headstone by Renee Carrier.
