Gracie Marie Voss, 22, of Port Austin, took her first ever independent steps as she walked, perhaps ran, or maybe even danced through the gates of Heaven into the waiting and loving arms of Jesus on May 27, 2026.  Born October 1, 2003, Gracie spent her life fighting and conquering many challenges and health crisis after health crisis, but she was one to battle whatever she faced.  When able, she attended the Huron Learning Center, where she enjoyed visiting her brother's classroom, listening to music, and her swing.  Most of all she loved being held, rocked, and snuggling in her mom's arms. She also participated in 4-H and Special Olympics.  Her smile would melt your heart.  Gracie was a true blessing sent from God and will be missed beyond description.

Gracie is survived by her mother, Janet M. Voss of Port Austin; brothers, Kyle of Port Austin, Roy of Tucson, AZ; her sister, Isabella Voss of Detroit; and her grandmother, Janet C. Voss.  She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Lorraine Voss, Mike and Gerri Voss, Nancy Wheeler, Mary and Dale Jaworski, and Kathy Reyce all of Port Austin, Sandie and Doug Bair of Goodrich, and Rich Voss of Port Hope.  Also surviving are Caren Voss, Rachel Voss, and many, many cousins and her Love Team from the Huron Learning Center.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Scott and Jory, Grandparents Leroy (Frank) and Aldine Voss, Uncle Frank Voss, and her cousins Jodi Voss and David Luttman.

Cremation has taken place.  Gracie's Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11am at the United Protestant Church in Port Austin.  Arrangements are being handled by the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.
