Gloria Millerschin, 78, Port Austin passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, in William Beaumont Hospital, Troy.

She was born on February 20, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Harvey and Grace (Kindlin) Turner.  She and Raymond Millerschin were united in marriage on November 25, 1961 in Detroit.

Gloria and Raymond raised their family in Lapeer, spending summers in Port Austin.  Twenty years ago they made Port Austin their residence, and spent their winters in Florida.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved being the life of the party and spending time with her friends.  Gloria gave painting lessons and loved to paint.  She enjoyed taking cruises, playing golf and enjoyed viewing the lake from her deck.  She was a member of the Port Austin PAFA.

Gloria is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Raymond;  Four children, Joy Courtney of Rochester Hills, John (Erin) Millerschin of Rochester Hills, Joe (Beth) Millerschin of Goodrich, and Jim (Kim) Millerschin of North Branch.  Also surviving are her grandchildren:  Kelsey (Dustin) Gamza; Ellie and Olivia Millerschin, Lauren Courtney, Kara, Jack, Max and Jake Millerschin.

Funeral Service for Gloria Millerschin will be on Sunday, September16, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Knoblock Funeral Home, Kinde.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00.
