Gayle A. Theaker, 60, of Sterling Heights, Michigan died on June 1, 2018 at her home.

Gayle was born on November 25, 1957, the daughter of LaVerne (Baranski) Hirschberger and the late Otto Paul Hirschberger in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.

She graduated from Port Austin High School the last year prior to consolidation.  She enjoyed singing, mostly gospel, and even made a CD.  Gayle worked on- line, counseling for Pain and Depression.

She is survived by her husband, Norman and her stepsons, Trevor and Tyler, both of Kentwood, Michigan.  Also she is survived by her mother, LaVerne Hirschberger-Watts of Port Austin, her siblings:  Rick (Betty) Hirschberger of East Jordan, MI, Sandra Hirschberger, Ruth Ann (Kirk) Laas of Winder, GA, and Laurie Hirschberger of AZ.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom and Bruce Hirschberger.

Visitation for Gayle Hirschberger will be on Thursday, from 10:00 am to noon.  Funeral Service will begin at noon at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.  Burial will be in The Port Austin Township Cemetery.
