Franklin Leroy Voss, a beacon of hard work and strength, passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 75.  He was born on February 7, 1950, in Bad Axe to the late Leroy and Aldine Voss.  He married his best friend, Lorraine Voss, on June 26, 1993, and they spent 32 years of happiness together.

Frank was a valuable member of the Port Austin Fire Department for 13 years.  He was a Coast Guard Auxiliary member for 10 years.  He also enjoyed coaching his kids' little league team.  Frank spent many years driving semis throughout the country.  Later in life he found enjoyment in tractor driving, which became his new passion.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine; his children, Stephanie, Heather, Jennifer, Dennis, and James; and his grandchildren, Josie, Justin, and Koltyn; and his great grandson, Theodore.  He is also survived by his siblings, Mike (Geri) Voss, Sandie (Doug) Bair, Jan Voss, Nancy Wheeler, Mary (Dale) Jaworski, Kathy Reyce, and Rich Voss; his stepmother, Jan; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He is also survived by his best friend and boss, Dave, and his beloved K-9 companion, Coco.

He was preceded in death by his son, David; his grandson, August; and his nephews and niece, Scott, Jory, and Jodi.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 2pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.  There will be visitation from 11am until the time of service at 2pm.
