Evelyn "Jean" Couls, 87, of Harbor Beach died Monday, July 30, 2018 in Harbor Beach.

She was born on August 12, 1930 in McKinnon, Tenn. the daughter of the late Jessie Waldrip and Willia Smith Waldrip.  She was a very active member of the United Protestant Church in Port Austin.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters:  Linda Tellier, Harbor Beach; Cheryl (Robert) McCabe, New Haven; and Judy (Steve) Rozanski of Chesterfield.  Also surviving are her grandchildren:  Samantha Peterson, Steven Peterson, Brett McCabe, B.J. McCabe, Bill McCabe, Terry Mathis and Crystal White; and her great-grandchildren:  Sidney Peterson, Andrew McCabe, Joey McCabe, Alyssa Mathis, Alexis Mathis, Logan Mathis, Caleb White, and Jasmine White.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Alberta Ross and her brother, John Waldrip.

Funeral Service for Evelyn "Jean" Couls will be on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 4:00 pm, at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00.  Burial will take place in the Port Austin Township Cemetery.
