her long battle with cancer.

Diane was born on January 5, 1954 in Detroit, MI to the late Wilfred and Aurelia Krumenaker. She and Joseph Niemiec were united in marriage on April 26, 2006 in Bad Axe, MI.

Diane worked at Franklin Inn, Normans, Harbor Beach Wire, and Valley Enterprise. She liked to get her hair and nails done. She also enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and taking
care of her dog, Ninja.

She is survived by her son, James (Tonia) Schulte of Pound, WI; her son, Donald Schulte of Green Bay, WI; her daughter, Theresa Kingsley of Oconto, WI; her brother, Wilfred "Butch"(Kathy) Krumenaker of Saginaw, MI; a sister, Marion Zuckschwerdt of Bay City; Stepson, Brian (Lori) Niemiec of Interlochen, FL; Stepson,Steve (Kristi) Niemiec of Bad Axe, MI; Stepson, Jeffrey Niemiec of Ubly, MI; Stepdaughter, Yvonne Niemiec of Fillion, MI; Stepdaughter, Laurie (Kenneth) Glaza of Ubly, MI; and her grandchildren, Devin, Alivia, Gabrielle, Zoey, Sebastian, Cloey, Kailey May, as well as 12 step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and several wonderful nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Niemiec; Twin Brother, Donald Krumenaker; one sister Pat Peplinski; and Stepson, Joseph Niemiec II.

Visitation will take place at Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde, MI on June 12th from 5 to 8pm. There will be a funeral for Diane Niemiec on Saturday, June 13th at 11:00am at Saint Michael's Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin, MI with Father Craig G. Carolan officiating.  Cremation has taken place at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette, WI.
