Daniel J. Youngblood III, 82, of Port Austin died October 13, 2021 in Autumnwood of Deckerville.

He was born on February 13, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Daniel and Marian (Barnoski) Youngblood.

He and Shirley Schaff were married in Detroit, Michigan on May 4, 1963.  She preceded him in death on May 21, 2017.  Having worked for the City of Detroit, he retired and they moved to Port Austin in 1994 and fulfilled his dream of building their own home.

Daniel enjoyed collecting and restoring old jukeboxes and playing euchre.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 499, the U & I Club, Inc, of Port Austin, and St. Michael's Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin.

He is survived by his children:  Cathy Youngblood of Rochester Hills, Raymond Youngblood of Port Austin and Ronald (Christine) Youngblood of Palm Beach, Florida, as well as his grandchild, Paul Youngblood.

He was preceded in death by his siblings:  Janel Glowcvewski and Richard Youngblood.

Funeral Mass for Daniel J. Youngblood III will take place on Tuesday, October 19,2021 at 11:00 am in St. Michael's Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin.  Visitation will be at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde on Monday from 3:00 – 8:00 pm and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am up until the time of service at 11:00.
