Conrad Alphonse Przystup, age 84, of Caseville, passed away, October 15, 2018 at home under hospice care.

Conrad was born on February 22, 1934, in Detroit to the late John and Johanna (Chudzinski) Przystup.

He enlisted in the United States Navy right out of Belleville High School, served in the Vietnam
War, and retired a decorated sailor, after 20 years of service in 1971.  On May 25, 1974, he was married to Patricia Nusca Zadrynski in Caseville, and after 44 years of marriage she preceded him in death on July 6, 2018.

Upon retiring from the Navy, Conrad worked for Ajax Asphalt for a few years and then he managed Sunnydale Orchards in Belleville, MI.  In 1977, the family moved to Caseville where he started working in the construction field.  He worked and learned from some very gifted builders which allowed him to form his own business, CAP Construction, before retiring in 2004.

Conrad enjoyed and looked forward to more than anything, the time of year when he could ride his John Deere riding lawn mower.  He loved doing yard work, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and couldn't resist a good cowboy movie.

Conrad is survived by his sons: Michael of Oak Island, NC, and Robert of CA, daughters: Lisa (Kenny Craig) Zadrzynski of Port Austin, MI, Maureen (Chad) Russell of Goshen, IN; and many grandchildren whom he adored with all his heart. Brother: Dennis (Lorene) Przystup of Fruita, CO; and sisters:  Johanna (Robert, deceased) of Wray, FL, Celeste of Lake, MI, Sue (David) of Round Rock, TX

He was preceded in death by a son, Darrin Zadrzynski.

Cremation has taken place and it was Conrad's wishes that there be no services.  Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde, MI is handling the arrangements.
