Barbara L. Kidd, 75, of Caeville died Thursday, September 13, 2017 at McLaren Hospital, Bay City, MI.

She was born, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marcelia (Baumgard) VanTifflin in Flint, Michigan on February 26, 1942.  She and Norbert Kidd were married  on February 24, 1962 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan.

Barbara was a 1960 graduate of Kearsley High School in Flint.  She enjoyed going to casinos and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren

She is survived by her husband, Norbert; her four children: Barry (Jeannie) Kidd of Otsego, MI, Jeffery (Michaela) Kidd of Bad Axe, Laura (Michael) Shinpock of Afton, VA, and Lisa (David) Scoviac of Port Austin:   Her grandchildren:  Zacharie and Zoe Kidd, Ashley, Joshua and Trent Kidd, Kayla and Hunter Chaplinski, Reese Scoviac and Ryan Shinpock.

Also surviving is her brother William (Amy) Van Tifflin of Bad Axe, and her sister Doreena Demdtt  of Fostoria and several nieces and nephews.  She was preseded in death by her sister, Shirley Lenhart.

Funeral Mass for Barbara Kidd will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church  of The Annunciation of the Lord Parish, in Port Austin.  Visitation will be at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde, Michigan from 2:00 – 8:00 on Friday and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 until the Mass at 11:00.
