Barbara Lou Earl, aged 76, passed away on August 24, 2024, in Bad Axe, MI with her family by her side following a short illness. She was born October 26, 1947 in Sandusky, MI to the late Arthur and Olive (Walker) Earl. Her life revolved around caring for people, from her family to her residents, as she retired from Courtney Manor as a Certified Nurse Aide.

Barb graduated from Marlette High School in 1965, and her commitment to caring for others defined her career and personal life. Her warmth and kindness enriched the lives of all who knew her. In her spare time she enjoyed canning, reading, bowling, crocheting and camping with family.

Barb is survived by her three children, Robert and Jody Muntz, Bad Axe, Dennis and Darlene Muntz, Bad Axe, and Tonya and Robert Prill, Elkton; 12 Grandchildren, Tad Muntz, Sadie Muntz (Shandy), Shyann Muntz (Ryan), Anthony Prill, Gage Brakenberry, Carter Prill, Gabriel Brakenberry, Gracie Prill, Isabella Prill, Lainey Brakenberry, Camdyn Brakenberry, and Lochlan Brakenberry; one great granddaughter, Sage Muntz. She is also survived by two brothers, William (Jill) Earl and Gary Earl along with good friends Mary Gilbert and Roz Umbreit. She was predeceased by her parents and infant sister, Janet Earl.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 12pm at the Community Wesleyan Church in Elkton.  Officiating will be Pastor Ean Green. Visitation will be held from 10 until time of service at the church.  Arrangements are being handled by the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Wesleyan Church or the Family Discretionary Fund, honoring Barb's memory and spirit of giving.
