Arnold Leroy Pawlowski , 88, of Macomb and Port Austin died Friday, November 25, 2022, at Michigan Veteran's Home in Chesterfield.

He was born on on October 17, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Walter and Mary (Lynch) Pawlowski.

Arnold and Julia Barber were married on May 2, 1958.  Julia preceded him in death on February 14, 2014.  Arnold retired from General Motors in 2014.  They moved to Port Austin in 1993.

He was a United States Navy Veteran and an active member of the U & I Club in Port Austin.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards, especially euchre.

Arnold is survived by his children; Darlene (Robert) Discher of Walled Lake, Douglas (Teresa) Pawlowski of Armada, and Brenda (John) Holmes of Kinde.

He is also survived by his grandchildren:  Charles, Douglas and Michael Discher, Cara (Chris) Rohlig, Cameron (Lauren) Pawlowski, Sarah (Aaron) Krul, Lindsay (Special friend, Aaron) Pawlowski, Kyle, Jordan, and Raegan Gembarski, Nathan (Amanda) Holmes, and Chad (Karie) Holmes,  8 Great-Grandchildren (2 on the way) his sibling, Betty Tenaglia, and he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald, and Sister, Edeltrude.

His family plans to have a private celebration of his life at a later date.  Arrangements were made through the Knoblock Funeral Home, Kinde
