Angela Bouvrette past away at the age of 96 on Wednesday June 28, 2017 at Henry Ford hospital in Clinton Twp. MI.  At her bedside in her last hours were her two sons, their wives,  grandchildren and some friends. Angela was always a good Catholic saying her Rosary daily.

Angela was born in the city of Mosta on the Island of Malta in the Mediterranean Sea. She was born on April 18, 1921 to her parents Joseph and Francis (Sant) Farrugia .  She had three sisters:  Angela, Gracie, and Evelyn, and a brother Joseph all of whom have since passed away.  The family migrated to the United States, Detroit Michigan just prior to the 2 ^nd World War.

Angela was preceded in death by one son, James Taliana.  She is survived by her two sons, Roy (Pietrina) Attard, and Edward (Bonita) Attard , and her daughter-in-law, Gloria Taliana.  All together she had 8 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren.

Angela out lived three husbands:  Charlie Taliana, Michael Attard and Herman Bouvrette. Subsequent to Michael passing Angela moved to Port Austin and purchased the Country Kitchen Restaurant, which she owned and operated for 27 years up until Herman proposed marriage with conditions that she retire from the restaurant business.

While living in Port Austin Angela was an active member of St Michael's Parish and the Women's Sodality, the American Legion, and entered her restaurant themed floats in the annual 4 ^th of July parades.

There will be visitation on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde.  A Funeral Mass will take place at 2:00 pm at The Annunciation of the Lord Parish, St. Michael's Catholic Church in Port Austin.   Burial will be in the church cemetery.  There will be a rosary led by the St. Michael's Holy Rosary Sodality at 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
